Our villas are in amongst the olive groves,
just above Gargarou (‘clear water’) beach. We are near the
village of Koroni (described in Rough Guides as one of the
40 things not miss), and near the southern tip of the
Messinian peninsula, in the south of the Peloponnese which
itself is at the end of the Balkans.

Here, at the end of the old world, things have not changed very much, so it’s slow food and agro tourism, 5 minutes walk from a beach without beach umbrellas and ice cream sellers. Less is more at Saintfridays. |  |
